It’s called faces. It was originally a sketch of my classmates done to test how well charcoal worked on spray painted butcher paper. I thought it looked cool so I made it into a piece with each perspective of it put together.
About the Artist

Following my childhood passion for macabre things, I have drawn primarily human faces whilst incorporating surreal imaginings to create a unique experience for the viewer. My interest in human expressions, capturing them in portraiture, creating unease and adding supernatural elements all contribute to my aesthetic. I enjoy the control and feel of graphite and charcoal. Through shading, value change, contrast, and shadow, I give the subjects more intensity, whereas in other pieces there is an intentional blur to create an otherworldly effect.
I plan on attending Vassar college in the fall where I will hopefully be continuing my art journey.
