Sanctuary for Sacred Arts is a non-profit organization founded by Fr. John Domin and David Richen. It is directed by a board of professional artists, architects, theologians, clergy, and business people to serve theology and the arts.
The organization serves as a resource for religious leaders, builders and renovators of churches, and students in the Pacific Northwest. Sanctuary for Sacred Arts is ecumenical, affiliating with a multiplicity of church, community, and religious organizations.
Sanctuary for Sacred Arts documents sacred architecture and sites from diverse faith traditions around the world.
Works by students from Portland’s Catholic high schools — Valley Catholic, Central Catholic, St. Mary’s Academy, La Salle, and De La Salle North.
