This art is titled "Communication" and is acrylic on canvas. I made the painting to hang in my session space, as I want to remind parents of behaviorally complex kids that their child's behaviors can be interpreted as "bad" or as communication, which is far more helpful.
About the Artist
Hi! My name is Elena and I am a senior at Valley Catholic High School. I love to create art that highlights my work, which is with behaviorally and medically complex kids. I often center my art around communication, which is one of the most important aspects of connection and growth. I plan to become a nurse and eventually open a school for medically/behaviorally complex kids.
