This stark five tiered 'mountain', built by Jayavarman V in the 11th century and dedicated to Shiva, was the first temple to be constructed entirely of sandstone. It lacks decoration and was never finished. Although only three towers are visible here, there is actually one central tower, almost 50 meters high, surrounded by four lower towers.
Rubble around the temple with tree roots growing into the stones.
Roots of the tree spilling down along the stones like water.
